In every soap we use a base of deeply nourishing, enriching and skin beneficial oils and butters.
Olive oil act contains the fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E, and K. Each of these benefits the skin in its own way. The leader of that pack is vitamin E; it’s an antioxidant that protects the skin from damage caused by free radicals. It boosts the collagen, moisturizes and soothes the skin. Using Olive Oil in soap will not clog pores and it will maintain the natural oils found on your skin.
Coconut oil is famous throughout the world not only as an edible oil and hair tonic but also as an excellent massage oil and moisturizer for the skin. Prevent premature ageing – Organic Coconut Oil has antioxidant properties which are known to help stop skin ageing early. Smoothes and retains moisture of the skin, contains vitamin E and maintains a tan! Applied to the skin’s surface when tanned, it may help to prolong the tan.
Cocoa butter is high in fatty acids, which is why nourish the skin and improve elasticity. Prevents skin aging and protects against damage from the sun’s harmful UV rays. The butter absorbs deeply and leaves a pleasant feeling on the skin. Cacao butter is especially suitable for dry, sensitive and flaky skin due to its fatting and elasticity-increasing qualities.
Sunflower Oil is high in essential fatty acids, which help to moisturize, regenerate and condition the skin. It is ideal oil for mature, sensitive, dry or damaged skin.
Activated carbon, also called activated charcoal, is a form of carbon processed to have small, low-volume pores that increase the surface area available for adsorption or chemical reactions. (wiki). Charcoal has cleansing and antioxidant properties, draws out toxins and removes impurities.
